Summary:
|
At the end of September, the food service fund has a net loss of $14,365. To help reduce hunger and support student achievement, the Board will provide free breakfast to all students for the entire 2024-2025 school year.

Budgetary Impact:
|
The Board is using fund balance to provide free breakfast to all students. As a result of covering the costs of these free meals, the food service fund is projected to operate at a deficit for the year.
